Misty is a survivor in every sense of the word. Like many who have faced adversity, she had countless opportunities to give up or let life's challenges overwhelm her. But what kept Misty fighting?

Starting at the company during a difficult period in her life, Misty was determined to turn things around. Through her hard work and determination, she quickly became someone her managers could depend on. Known for her cheerful attitude, she started as an assistant in the laundry department but soon proved herself capable and dependable, eventually leading the department.

Her responsibilities expanded as the company grew, and despite long, tiring hours, Misty remained the go-to person for anyone who needed her help, always showing up with a smile.

Life, however, hasn't always been kind to Misty. She endured challenging domestic situations and had to fight her way out of tough circumstances, often relying on friends and family for transportation to work. Just as things were looking up in July 2024, she was hit with devastating news: a diagnosis of Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. Despite feeling unwell, Misty remained dedicated to her job, feeling guilty on the days she couldn't make it to work. But her commitment to her treat-ments, her family, and her work family never wavered

Through it all, Misty has shown incredible strength, inspiring everyone around her. With the help of prayer, modern medicine, and a strong support system, she has stood tall and proud. One person, in particular, has been her rock—her supervisor, Michelle German, who has supported her through every step of the journey.
